 It’s official, SUMMER is here and it’s getting hot, no school and beautiful shiny days, perfect combination for a day on your skateboard.
Nowadays a majority of the kids would rather go street-skating than to go the skate park. . Therefore NMX and the city of Albuquerque have decided to take the streets to the kids by hosting this new format called “Bolts & Hammers”.
Bolts & Hammers is a very unique competition in which riders will show their skills in an unusual setting on which we will feature on-site built obstacles. This event will also consist of live Dj’s, entertainment, art displays, b-boy battle.
Bolts & Hammers and Plaza Palooza will be held at the Civic Plaza, located on Marquette and 3rd, at 6:30PM on Saturday, July 11th.

March 23, 2009 – Alli, the Alliance of Action Sports, today announced Gatorade has signed on as the title sponsor for the Free Flow Tour. Gatorade will support the summer Free Flow Tour series as well as the soon-to-be-launched amateur snowboard and freeski series.
In addition to the grassroots program and Tour-wide entitlement and category rights, Gatorade and Alli have partnered with FUEL TV on a Gatorade Free Flow Tour content play. Alli and Gatorade will create three original half-hour programs across summer and winter to air on FUEL TV, and FUEL TV will provide exposure and promotion across their network and online platform.
Come Join us for an exciting Amateur Skateboard Competition at Los Altos Skate Park on July 25th 2009, Winner gets an all expenses paid trip to Salt Lake city UT for a chance to compete for the big ticket and skate with the Pros like Chaz Ortiz, Paul Rodriguez and more.
